La rentree des classes, les nuits blanches, les feuilles qui tombent, un renouveau de creativite, la petite laine pour se couvrir, le soleil qui se couche beaucoup trop tot… tous les signes y sont…

I met a wonderful couple from Victoria. Married in Switzerland in the morning. Photos in Paris at night. A rainy night. I am still smiling because they said that it seldom rains in Victoria (Australia). We got a good sample of French rain on that May day.

I have to say that I have been quite busy with little time to spend on my blog. Sometimes I need 28 hours in my days.I will try to update my blog on a regular basis this June as a lot happened in the past few months.

Vicky had a beautiful dress, hair do and shoes. I am sure those are unfortunately ruined.

And finally, the moment we had been waiting for.Best wishes to Vicky and Leon. As we say in France, Mariage Pluvieux, Mariage Heureux!

Mickael and Maryse, very handsome on Pont des Arts on a warm late September morning. I will post a few more photos later.

Laurie and Dan came to Paris to celebrate their anniversary.

We started the afternoon near Eiffel Tower. I always try to find new angles for this too often photographed monument.

I like this image through the Peace monument. Word Peace is written in different languages on columns and glass structures that make the monument very light and non obstructive.

After a stop on Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe, we went to Montmartre.

These street “musicians” were a little drunk but a good addition to our picture.

And finally, a moment to enjoy the view on a particularly clear day.

Eric proposed on Pont des Arts. See brand new ring on Sandra’s finger. Here they are inside pyramide du Louvre.

At their hotel. I like all the Parisian details: cobble stones, sand stone building, typical window and geraniums.

Walking on left bank, we came upon a group of old cars getting ready for a movie or TV shoot.

Old car and new ring. Box of Chocolat Menier on rooftop.

Could not resist a Paris red door.
Best wishes to Eric and Sandra. I loved their choice of clothes, neutral colors to accompany a typical grey sky.

A quick stop at Brasserie Balzar before opening hours to get that “cafe look”
Nancy and John are very elegant and …so happy !

We picked the kiosque in Jardin du Luxembourg for the reading of the vows. It was a sunny day after several rainy ones.

John’s sister on the right sang a beautiful song in French! by Gabriel Faure. A few red rose petals on the ground were our only “decoration”. Not much more is needed when you are in Paris!

There are all looking at Bettie singing her song. I like the roof of the kiosque with its exotic wood and shape.

On rue de Tournon, in front of one of Suzanne Ermann’s exquisite wedding dress creations. www.suzanne-ermann.com

Lunch at le Procope was very enjoyable (rue de l’Ancienne Comedie) .

And a little walk to the Louvre after lunch, enjoying a sunny afternoon on Pont des Arts. Nancy was wearing a very pretty dress and you can see some details here. Best to both, they are a regal couple.

Alice and Max are in Paris to celebrate their honeymoon. At 8:30 on the Champs Elysees, they are seuls au monde !

Inside Louvre, we are able to dodge the crowds as well.

My favorite cafe le Nemours for a quick stop.

With the Daniel Buren sculptures at Palais Royal. I love that pink bag!

And finally we got to use that umbrella. It was a beautiful quiet Sunday in Paris and one that Alice and Max will remember for a long time.
